Wonderful blog. I agree with you, it’s our attitude or acceptance of what is going on that makes all the difference in the world. Would that I knew that when I was young! At least I recognize that now. As it turns out, I thrive on change, it keeps me young. Thanks again for your fine blog.

I agree Julie, feeling comfortable within is such a high priority.

I like your ‘Become curious about who you are and what it is that you are needing’. That is so key when choosing a theme to use when simplifying your wardrobe. Clothes play such a part in how we feel and by going through our wardrobes each season it is a great way to get rid of items which are not helping to nuture our inner self and the life we wish to live.

Great article, really useful and informative. Even the title “simplifying’ makes the job sound appealing, effortless, enjoyable.
However gorgeous your wardrobe is, if you don’t feel good on the inside, you will fail to see yourself as attractive on the outside. Start to notice the things you love about yourself and ignore your inner critic. Step into your own skin and begin to get comfortable with yourself. You may not be ‘perfect’ but accepting who you are is the key to change. Become curious about who you are and what it is that you are needing. When you take care of yourself as a whole you can be truly happy.

Thanks for dropping by Josten. As change is such a big and constant part of our lives it is a great thing to come to terms with and offers a fantastic basis from which to flow from.

Accepting change is a very hard thing to deal with. But once we accept change then the rest is smooth sailing.

“Sometimes change seems for the better and sometimes we feel it has changed for the worse.”

That is the key: our perception of whether the change is good or bad, and not the change itself! Even if we can’t agree that the change is good (because it’s not what we want), it usually is for our higher good. With time and patience we can often look back and see it more clearly.
